Dr. Rosenbrock began her 20 year coaching career at BSU in 1969, retiring from coaching in 1989. She continued on the faculty at BSU until the spring of 2006. During her collegiate career, she coached three sports, including volleyball, track and field and gymnastics. Serving as head volleyball coach for 12 seasons, Pat's teams earned honors three times as Minn-Kota conference champions, two times as NAIA District 13 champions, one second place finish at that tournament and two second place finishes at the Bi-District tournaments. Her teams also finished once as co-champions in the Northern Sun Conference, had two second place finishes at the MAIAW State championships, and in 1977 took second at the AIAW Region 6 championships. Her overall coaching record for volleyball was 293 wins - 218 loss and she had five 30 winning seasons. Pat was the head track and field coach for 13 seasons, winning two MAIAW State championships, two second place finishes at state, and three Minn-Kota Conference championships. Throughout this time, she coached multiple state title winners and AIAW regional qualifiers. Pat started her coaching career in gymnastics, serving as the head coach at BSU for six seasons. Her teams were Minn-Kota Conference champions every season and had three top three finishes at the MAIAW state meet. For her coaching prowess, Pat was inducted into the NSIC Hall of Fame in 2001, was recognized as a Pioneer for Women's Athletics at BSU in 2000, was name Bemidji Pioneer Coach of the Year in 1988, the NAIA District 13 Coach of the Year in 1987, 1988 and 1989 and was the NSC Volleyball Coach of the Year in 1988. Pat also spent many years during her career officiating and was certified at the state and national level in field hockey, volleyball, basketball and gymnastics. Pat's leadership roles in athletics included serving as Director of Women's Athletics at BSU from 1981 to 1986, chair of the Northern Sun Conference, Chair of the MN Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (MAIAW) and chair of the Minn-Kota conference. She also served on two AIAW national committees. After retiring from coaching, Pat continued on at BSU as an academic and fully retired in 2006. She continues to make her home in Bemidji, MN.
