Kevin Kish attended Bemidji State University from 1974 until 1979 and
studied business administration and education. While attending BSU,
Kevin was a four year letter winner in wrestling. He was a two time
national champion, and was seeded number one in the national tournament
his senior year. Kevin was also selected as a NAIA All American both of
those years. Kevin wrestled on one conference championship team and two
second place teams. He was elected team captain both his junior and
senior years and was a recipient of the Northern Intercollegiate
Conference Outstanding Wrestler Award his senior year. Kevin's career
record was 62 wins and 10 losses. Following his four year eligibility
at BSU, and second national championship, Kevin was chosen to represent
Bemidji StateUnited States on an NAIA wrestling team that toured Japan
and Korea. He shared his passion for sports by assisting and coaching
youth programs in his early years and remains active in his Anoka high
school wrestling alumni club. Kevin currently lives in Maple Grove,
Minnesota where he is co-owner of Showcase Renovations, a remodeling
and construction company. He enjoys training and mentoring young people
entering carpentry careers. Kevin and his wife, Pamela, have one
daughter Jenna, who is studying to be a nurse. They make their home in
Maple Grove, Minnesota.
