Jeanne Glassmann earned her Bachelors Degree in physical education
from BSU in 1976. While working on her undergraduate degree,
Jeanne was a four year letter winner in track and field and was a
dominant force in the events she participated in, with hurdles being
her premier event. During her four years on the team, Jeanne won
seven conference titles in the hurdles, setting six records. She
also won seven state titles, with each championship setting a new
Minnesota state record in that event. She also qualified to
compete in the nationals in the 200 and 400 yard hurdles. Jeanne
was named All Conference three years and conference MVP two
years. She was team captain in 1975 and 1976 and was also named
