BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Director of Athletics Tracy Dill has announced that the university and RP Broadcasting have reached an agreement to make the Beaver Radio Network the exclusive radio home of Beaver Athletics through the 2020-21 season.

We are confident that this partnership will continue to grow and allow us to bring Beaver Territory to our fans and alumni from all over the world.”
Beginning with the 2016-17 athletic season, terms of the agreement call for at least 137 BSU Athletics’ events to be broadcast live each year. The 2016-17 season gets underway September 1 when the BSU football team hosts Upper Iowa in the season-opener. The game will be the first of 11 BSU football games to air on The River 92.1. RP Broadcasting will also air the entire men’s and women’s hockey schedules on Mix 103.7 and 1300 KPMI, respectively. For the first time, the Beaver Radio network will also carry the entire men’s and women’s basketball season. Both programs will call Talk Radio 1360 home. In addition, a minimum of five select BSU baseball games and five soccer, volleyball and/or softball games, at the discretion of RP Broadcasting, will be will be carried on Talk Radio 1360.
All BSU athletic events covered by one of RP Broadcasting’s stations will be simulcast online, free of charge, at BeaverRadioNetwork.com and are also available on mobile devices through the Tune In Radio Network.
Beyond the play-by-play coverage and analysis, each game day broadcast will include comprehensive pre- and post-game shows and exclusive features such as “Bucky’s Legends” and “This Week at BSU” to provide historical perspective and allow the listener to get an inside look at the accomplishments of current BSU student-athletes, coaches and programs.
BSU and RP Broadcasting also announced that on The River 92.1 will continue to be the home for BSU’s weekly coaches’ show.
The broadcasting partnership is an extension of one that began in 1999-2000.
