As the graduate assistant coach at BSU, McIntee’s responsibilities include: instruction of the outfielders and base running, coordinating recruiting efforts and assisting in hitting instruction. He was named head coach of the Wilson Bulldogs of the Boise Summer League (college wood bat league) in the summer of 2010. The Bulldogs finished 18-17 in league play and had a strong playoff run that fell one game short of the BSL World Series. As head coach he handled all offensive duties and oversaw the pitching staff. For his efforts was elected an assistant coach of the BSL North Division All-Star Team, guided the league’s most valuable player and oversaw a high powered Bulldog offense that led the BSL in team batting average, slugging percentage, hits, doubles and triples. Before his graduate assistant position, McIntee served as an assistant coach in the summer of 2009 for the Wilson Bulldogs who lost in the BSL World Series. With the Bulldogs, he was the hitting and infield coach. As a player at BSU, McIntee led the team in conference batting average with .360 his senior year (2009). Also during 2009, he was named NSIC Player of the Week on Feb. 5. He hit .320 going 31-for-97 during his sophomore season (2007), collecting 10 outfield assists to lead the outfield. Outside of BSU, McIntee played for the Nampa Rattlers in the Boise Summer League in the summer of 2007 and 2008. He led the Rattlers in stolen bases (12) in 2008. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management with a minor in business administration. He was a constant on the Dean’s List and was an NSIC All-Academic Team member. He is pursuing a master’s degree in sports studies. ![]() |
