7/27/2010 - BASEBALL Baseball announces Fall Showcase

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State head baseball coach Tim Bellew has announced the 2010 Fall Showcase for Saturday, Sept. 18, coined ‘Pack the Ball Park Day.’

The event is free and open public and gives a sneak peek to the 2011 BSU baseball team. The day begins with a BSU Rookies/Newcomers Game at 11 a.m. to showcase the new talent at Bemidji State. At 1:30 p.m. a Youth Metal Bat Fall League Game will take the spotlight. The day concludes with the Bemidji State baseball alumni game which begins at 4 p.m., giving fans old and new another look at their favorite Beaver baseball players. Concessions will be open all day.
