This year the top six teams in the conference, based on win percentage, are paired in a double elimination tournament, mirroring the NCAA Regional format. Bemidji State was seeded fifth after winning the tiebreaker with Winona State. The two teams split during the regular season, but the Beaver’s went 1-3 against Wayne State while Winona State went 0-4. The Beavers will take on the No. 2-seeded Upper Iowa Peacocks (24-8) at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
Wayne State finished the NSIC on top for the fifth straight season with a 24-6 mark and will play the No. 6 seeded Winona State Warriors (15-15) at 1 p.m. The final match-up of the first round will see No. 3 Concordia-St. Paul (16-10) battle No. 4 Southwest Minnesota State (24-18) at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 8.

Bemidji State finished the season with its best record since 2002. The Beavers garnered a 15-24-1 overall record and a 13-13 mark in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
