BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State baseball head coach Tim Bellew today announced that both games scheduled with the University of North Dakota have been cancelled due to having to readjust their schedule because of the April snow storms that have hit the Bemidji Area over the last week.

Bemidji State was originally scheduled to play the North Dakota Fighting Sioux on April 15 in Grand Forks, N.D. and then in Bemidji on April 21, but because of unpredictable field conditions and scheduling conflicts the games have been cancelled.

Bemidji State is off to an 7-14-1 start, the best by a Beaver baseball program since the 2003 season. The Beavers are also off to its best start in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play since 2003. Currently, BSU is 5-5 in the NSIC.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
