Weekend’s home and NSIC opener moved to Sunday-Monday
BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Due to more favorable weather conditions on Monday, March 22, the Bemidji State University baseball team has moved its home and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference four-game series with Wayne State College from Saturday-Sunday to Sunday-Monday. A doubleheader at the BSU Baseball Field is slated for each day with the first pitch set for 12 p.m.

Sunday’s games will open home and conference play for the Beavers (9-8). It will mark the earliest start to their home season in 58 years of BSU Baseball. The earliest the Beavers has ever started was March 27, 2007 when they battled Minnesota Duluth in a nonconference game, losing 8-1. BSU has hosted 10 games in March all-time and stands 3-7 in those contests.
