BEMIDJI, Minn. – The weekly radio show, “Sports in the Round,” which broadcasts on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. at The Ground Round, will this week feature Bemidji State University baseball. BSU head baseball coach Tim Bellew will be on the show to discuss the team's start to the 2011 season at the RussMatt Greater Phoenix Invitational in Arizona March 8-13.Also appearing on the show is Beaver Pride Coordinator Jake Bluhm to talk about this weekend's men's hockey series with the University of Minnesota.
Interviews from this week’s Beaver Pride Athletes of the Week, Kristi Buerkle (Women's Track and Field, Sr., Sprinter, Stacy, Minn.) and Raphael Gelo (Men's Track and Field, So., Pole Vault, Kabetogama, Minn.) will also air.
This is the 10th Anniversary Season of Sports in the Round, with all ten
years at the Ground Round. As always, the hosts are Brian
