Baseball four-game series at Minnesota State moved to Sunday-Monday

MANKATO, Minn. ­— The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference four-game series at tied for No. 8 Minnesota State University, Mankato has been pushed back to April 22-23 due to forecasted rain Saturday. A doubleheader is scheduled for each day with a 12 p.m. start time.

The Beavers are 17-17 overall and own a 10-10 NSIC record to sit in eighth in the league standings. BSU is coming off a doubleheader sweep off University of Minnesota, Crookston April 18. The Beavers have two wins against nationally-ranked opponents this season, including a 6-2 win against the then-No. 15 Mavericks in the season opener. BSU downed then-No. 8 St. Cloud State University 5-4 April 11 in Bemidji, Minn.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
