BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State baseball team is Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament bound for the first time since 2008 and the second time in head coach Tim Bellew's career at BSU. BSUBeavers.com caught up with Bellew and seniors Logan Kalis (1B/RHP/OF, Little Falls, Minn.), Phil Bray (LHP, Chatfield, Minn.) and Riley Hirsch (C, Little Falls, Minn.) to talk about the upcoming tournament and their careers as a Beaver.
BSU finished 22-20 overall to become the seventh team to reach 20 wins in the 62-year history of the program. The Beavers finished the regular season above .500 for the first time since 2002 and for just the 11th time in program lore.
