The Bemidji State University baseball team posted a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader with Minot State University Sunday to conclude the 2014 season. BSU lost game one 3-2 in eight innings and won game two 3-0 to finish 21-22 overall and 15-15 in NSIC play.

After a successful four-year playing career on the Bemidji State University baseball team, Matt Ellinghuysen will serve as assistant coach for the Beaver baseball program starting in the 2014 season. Ellinghuysen played from 2010-13 under ninth-year head coach Tim Bellew.


Bemidji State baseball set to host Green/White and Alumni Games Sept. 29

The Bemidji State University baseball team has announced its plans for BSU Homecoming Weekend Sept. 27-29. The Beavers will host a Green/White scrimmage Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9:30 a.m., followed by an alumni game at 12:30 p.m. Both games will take place at the BSU Baseball Field and are free and open to the public.
