BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University baseball team is set to open its 2015 spring training with its first practice Sunday from the BSU Fieldhouse.
The Beavers practice schedule for their spring training will be from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Monday and Wednesday, BSU will practice from 2-5 p.m. with Saturday's practice from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the 2014 season, Bemidji State went 21-22 overall and posted a 15-15 mark in the ever-grueling Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
The Beavers season will get underway Feb. 12-13 as they travel to Topeka, Kan. to take on Washburn University with game times set for 2:30 p.m. both days.
Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooded region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
