In game two, it was another scoreless game until the top of the seventh when the Golden Bears gained the first lead of the game. Concordia's breakthrough came with runners on first and second and two outs as Fasnacht's single to center field drove in Kyle Dalton for a 1-0 lead.
In the ninth, Fasnacht gave Concordia its 2-0 edge as he hit a home run over the left center field fence with two outs. The Golden Bears would hold the Beavers off as they took the shutout in game two.
Bemidji State’s reliever Jack Hegarty recorded the loss, falling to 2-2 on the season as he allowed two runs in three relief innings. Jack Stigman started for the Beavers, working six shutout innings as he allowed six hits and three walks with five strikeouts.
