MANKATO, Minn. -- The threat of inclement weather has pushed the Bemidji State University baseball team’s scheduled doubleheaders at Minnesota State University Mankato back to Sunday and Monday, April 3-4.
The Beavers and Mavericks throw the first pitch of Sunday’s games at 1 p.m. with the second contest following at the conclusion. Games three and four begin at 12 p.m. from the MSU Baseball Complex in Mankato, Minn.
Bemidji State most recently opened the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season at Concordia University-St. Paul March 25-26. The Golden Bears took a sweep with all four games at St. Paul, Minn. CSP outscored BSU by two or less runs in three of the games, and won the fourth by a margin of four. The Golden Bears opened the first day with 10-8 and 4-3 wins before taking the second day’s games 11-7 and 4-3. Bemidji State scored first in all four games.
