BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Weather forces Bemidji State University baseball to move its home-opening weekend to Winona, Minn., in its series against Winona State. The Beavers will serve as the home team with the original game times for each doubleheader.
Bemidji State was originally scheduled to host Winona State in its home opener April 9-10 at BSU Baseball Field but inclement weather forced the schedule change. BSU and WSU will throw first pitches at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday from Loughrey Field.
BSU comes off a road sweep against Northern State University for its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference wins of the season.
Bemidji State’s official home opener is pushed back to April 13 against University of Minnesota Crookston. The Beavers and Golden Eagles play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.
