BEMIDJI, Minn. -- The threat of inclement weather has forced the Bemidji State University and University of Sioux Falls baseball teams to move this weekend’s four-game series up by one day. The Beavers and Cougars will now play a doubleheader Friday and Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively, at BSU Baseball Field.
Rain in the forecast forced the programs to move the game dates, with Sunday serving as a possible make-up date if rain is present Saturday.
Bemidji State comes off a home opening sweep to University of Minnesota Crookston Wednesday. The Beavers fell to 6-26 overall and 3-13 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Sioux Falls took a home sweep from University of Upper Iowa in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Cougars rank sixth in the NSIC with a 13-14 overall record and a 7-4 mark in conference play.
