Baseball games at Winona State delayed one day due to threat of rain

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University baseball has rescheduled its four-game series at Winona State University for Sunday and Monday, March 26-27, due to a threat of rain Saturday, March 25.

The Sunday games are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. while Monday’s games will take place at noon and 2 p.m. from Loughrey Field in Winona, Minn.

The Beavers are taking a 4-12 record, including 1-3 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate play, into Winona to finish their season-opening road trip. BSU fell in a sweep to University of Minnesota Duluth Thursday in Minneapolis at US Bank Stadium.

Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooded region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
