WINONA, Minn. (Loughrey Field) -- Wednesday’s originally scheduled doubleheader between Bemidji State University and Concordia University-St. Paul baseball has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 30 in an attempt to gain better field conditions.
The Beavers (7-13, 4-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) and Golden Bears (10-10, 4-4 NSIC) will play at 2 and 4 p.m. from BSU Baseball Field in Bemidji, Minn.
Bemidji State is coming off a 3-1 series win over Winona State University in the final leg of a season-opening road trip. The Beavers took 5-2, 6-1 and 4-2 wins in Winona, Minn.
Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooded region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
