Potential rain moves Beaver Baseball series up one day

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University baseball’s four-game series against University of Minnesota Crookston has been moved up one day due the threat of rain. The Beavers and Golden Eagles will now play a doubleheader at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 26 followed by senior day at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at BSU Baseball Field.

The Beavers and Golden Eagles will play a seven-inning game before a nine-inning contest Friday, both of which are Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games, while playing a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game Saturday. The final game of the four-game series is a non-conference game.

Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooded region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
