Appeared in eight and started five games on the mound...Charted a 13.11 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched and a 0-2 record on the year...Pitched 17 strikeouts, with a season-high of five at Arizona Christian (Mar. 10) and at Minnesota Duluth (Apr. 18)...Recorded six innings of work for a season-high at Arizona Christian and allowed only four hits.

2014 (Freshman)
Appeared in five and started in four games on the mound...Recorded two assists...Pitched in five games and ended the season with a 8.84 ERA...Charted 19.1 innings pitched, allowing 30 hits and 23 runs...Pitched a complete game, only giving up one run in his first career start against Wayne State (4/10/14).

Prior to BSU: Lettered in baseball, basketball and football for the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School Buccaneers... Was named to the Gopher Valley All-Conference team twice... Was named to the Minnesota All-State team and Waseca Player of the Year his senior year... Pitched 45 innings with a record of 8-0 with 72 strikeouts, an ERA of 0.62 and a strikeout to walk ratio of 12/1 his senior season... In 2011 his basketball team took third place in the state tournament and in 2009 his football team won the state championship... Was named Vice President of his class while being on the B Honor Roll.

Personal: Son of Lois and John Masberg... Born Sept. 14, 1994... Proposed physical education major... His mother, Lois, and aunt, Lora (Weiers), played basketball at BSU and are members of the 1985-86 and 1986-87 teams that were inducted into the BSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011... His father, John, played baseball at Minnesota State, Mankato... Sister, Cassie, played volleyball, basketball and softball at Riverland Community College... Brother, Conrad, plays baseball at Winona State... Cousin, Brad, won the College World Series playing baseball at the University of St. Thomas.
