Finishes career as BSU's all-time leader with 629 at-bats, 216 hits, 153 RBIs, 135 runs scored, 45 doubles, 35 stolen bases, 30 home runs and nine triples... Became BSU's all-time leader in hits April 23, 2018 at home against Wayne State... Led Beavers with .331 batting average, .589 slugging percentage, .423 on-base percentage, 151 at-bats, 89 total bases, 50 hits, 36 runs scored, 33 RBIs, 21 walks, 11 stolen bases, 10 doubles and nine home runs... Tied for second in the NSIC in home runs... Ranks among the top 15 in the league in runs scored, RBIs, total bases, slugging percentage and stolen bases... Totaled 13 multiple hit and eight multiple RBI games to lead the team... Reached base in 16 straight games at one point for the second longest streak on the team.
2017 (Junior): Named to 2017 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team... 2017 Academic All-NSIC Team selection... Started all 38 games played in while missing 12 games due to injury... Led BSU in several categories including batting average (.350), slugging percentage (.642), on-base percentage (.419), RBI (38), runs scored (29), extra-base hits (20), home runs (9) and sacrifice flies (4)... Ranked fourth in the conference in slugging percentage, tied for eighth in home runs and tied for 13th in RBI... Finished junior season ranked among top 10 in BSU history in intentional walks (5; 1st), sacrifice flies (11; 1st), slugging percentage (.586; 2nd), triples (8; 2nd), home runs (21; 2nd), RBI (120; 2nd), total bases (280; 2nd), doubles (35; 3rd), hits (166; 4th), runs scored (99; 5th), stolen bases (24; 6th) and batting average (.347; 7th)... Recorded 55 putouts and five assists for a .968 fielding percentage... Stole eight bases, which ranked second on the team... Tallied 48 hits, 15 walks, nine doubles and two triples.
2016 (Sophomore): Named to the 2016 Academic All-NSIC Team… Started and played in 49 games… Ranked second on the program’s single-season RBI list with 51, eighth in the NSIC, and the doubles list with 16, tied for fourth in the NSIC… Finished with a team high 27 extra-base hits, including seven home runs and four triples… Ranks tied for eighth on the career RBI list with 82 after his sophomore campaign… Placed himself tied for third on the career triples list with six… Hit a .368 batting average with the program’s second most hits in a season at 71, ranking seventh in the NSIC… Scored 36 runs and added a .601 slugging percentage and a .419 on-base percentage… Led BSU and tied eighth in the NSIC with 10 stolen bases on 12 attempts…Recorded a .952 fielding percentage with 75 putouts and four assists… Reached base in 23 consecutive games for the longest streak of his career… Tallied a career high five hits April 20 at Minot State University with a season high seven RBI… Totaled four games with at least four RBI.
2015 (Freshman): Played and started in 44 games his rookie season... Batted .318 with 47 hits, including 10 doubles, two triples and led the team with five home runs... Led the Beavers in runs scored (34) and RBIs (31)... Recorded 148 at bats and went 6-for-6 on stolen bases... Posted his first collegiate home run against Southwest Minnesota State (Mar. 11) in Tucson, Arizona... Hit two home runs in a game at Sioux Falls (Mar. 28), which included a three run shot and a grand slam in back-to-back at bats... From right field, Litchy charted 83 putouts and six fielding assists for a .947 fielding percentage... Named NSIC Player of the Week (3/30/15) after his performance at Sioux Falls.
Prior to BSU: Totaled 11 varsity letters in baseball (4), basketball (4) and football (3) at Albany High School... Led the baseball team in batting average all four years of varsity... Made the all-state baseball team senior year and was a member of the high school all-star team... An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born Aug. 10, 1994... Son of Robert and Eileen Litchy... Majoring in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration at BSU.
