Beaver Football adds two freshman to 2018 class

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University football head coach Brent Bolte announced Monday that two high school seniors will join the 2018 National Signing Day class. Alec Ogden, a quarterback from Marshall, Wis., and Sage Booker, a running back from Minneapolis, put the program’s incoming freshmen total at 34.

The student-athletes listed on the roster have signed Letters of Intent to play football at Bemidji State. Future Beavers are only listed below if the Bemidji State Athletics Compliance Office has verified a signed National Letter of Intent or a written Offer of Admission from Bemidji State University.

Hallman… Named All-District two seasons… Finished career with 31 touchdowns and 3,005 rushing yards as a four-year member of the varsity team.Personal: Son of Sandy Jackson and Elizabeth Booker… Born Sept. 28, 1999… Proposed major in business and marketing with a minor in health promotion and education… Sister played basketball at St. Cloud State University.

High School: Three-time letter-winner at Monona Grove HS under head coach Branden Beckwith… Also lettered in basketball for the Silver Eagles… Selected Wisconsin All-State and two-time Team MVP … Finished career with 6,439 passing yards, 1,330 rushing yards and 77 passing touchdowns.

Personal: Son of Dan and Robyn Ogden… Born October 29, 1999… Construction management major.
