Grabbed a season-high four passes versus Minnesota State (9/5/09)... Pulled in three catches for 30 yards and his first collegiate touchdown versus St. Cloud State (10/3/09)... Pulled in another touchdown the following weekend as the Beavers defeated Wayne State (926/09)... Recorded two receptions for 39 yards in a thriller against Minnesota Duluth (10/24/09), which included a 32-yard “Hail Mary” touchdown reception as time expired to bring the Beavers within a point of the defending national champions... Matched a season-high reception total with four in the season finale (11/7/09)... Also set a career mark pulling in two touchdown receptions at Concordia-St. Paul (11/7/09). 2008 (Fr): Was one of two true freshman to see significant time in 2008... Played in each of the Beavers’ 11 games, starting at one of the wide receiver positions on five occasions... Finished fourth on the team with 24 catches for 225 yards... Paced the BSU special teams unit with 12 kickoff returns for 226 yards. Grabbed his first collegiate pass at Minot State (8/28/08)... Racked up career-highs at Minnesota Duluth (10/25/08) with six catches and 53 yards. Prior to BSU: Played quarterback, wide receiver, defensive back, punter and kicker at Kaneland High School... Completed 216-of-388 pass attempts for 2,714 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2007... Posted nearly 100 yards per game on the ground netting 890 yards with eight touchdowns in nine games... His 3,604 yards of total offense and 29 touchdowns was tops in the Chicagoland... Also averaged 38.5 yards per punt, made three-of-four field goal attempts and successfully converted 30-of-31 point after attempts... Earned Rivals.com High School National Player of the Week after a game in which he passed for 412 yards, rushed for 145 more, accounted for four touchdowns and kicked the game-winning field goal... For his efforts he gained all-conference accolades as a quarterback and punter while he was selected as the Western Sun Conference Offensive MVP... Was also named all-state in 2007 by the Illinois High School Coaches’ Association... The team captain and four-year letter winner was a four-time recipient of the Western Sun Conference Prep Player of the Week Award and was named as the Walter Payton Roundhouse High School Player of the Year as a senior.
