2010 (Fr): Played in 10 games on defense, special teams and took snaps under center as quarterback... Finished with six tackles and rushed three times for nine yards... Five tackles came on special teams (three kickoff, two punt).
    Posted two tackles, including a half tackle for a two yard loss against MSU Moorhead (Oct. 16)... Rushed twice for seven yards against Northern State (Oct. 30).

2009 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Captained the Panthers in 2007 and 2008... Threw for more than 2,000 yards as a junior... Was a 7-on-7 passing league state finalist... Also captained the Duncanville High School track and field team as a junior and senior... Was a member of state finalist 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams... Comes from a strong football tradition, lists his mother’s cousin as Heisman Trophy Winner and Houston Oiler great Earl Campbell... Joins fellow Texan Alvandrick Womack on BSU roster as the only players hailing from the Lone Star State.
