Opened a string of three straight games with touchdown catches versus Winona State (9/12/09)... Fielded a 2009-best four punts at Northern State (9/26/09) and racked up 54 return yards including a season-long 20-yard run back... Grabbed a season-high eight receptions for 86 yards and his fourth touchdown of the season versus Minnesota Duluth (10/24/09)... Recorded a career-high 32-yard catch-and-run in the game. 2008 (So): Was a constant among the Beavers’ receiving corps making 11 starts as a sophomore... Finished as the team’s second-leading target with 48 catches for 482 yards and a pair of touchdowns... Handled the bulk of the punt return duties racking up 137 yards on 15 returns... His 9.1 yards per return was good for fifth in the NSIC... Was selected for Honorable Mention All-NSIC honors. Opened the season with six catches at Minot State (98/28/08)... Posted career-bests with nine receptions and 120 yards receiving at Winona State (9/13/08)... Reeled in seven passes at Wayne State (10/11/08)... Caught touchdown passes in back-to-back games at Minnesota Duluth (910/25/08) and versus U-Mary (11/1/08)... Posted a career-high 24-yard punt return versus U-Mary (11/108). 2007 (Fr): Saw time in eight games making a start on eight occasions... Registered 17 catches to rank second on the team... His three touchdowns tied him for third among receivers... Grabbed a career-high four passes for 53 yards in a victory over Minot State (9/8)... Made his first collegiate trip into the end zone scoring the Beavers only touchdown in a 10-7, heart-breaking loss at U-Mary (10/6)... Posted four tackles (three solo) as a part of BSU’s special teams unit. 2006 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt. Prior to BSU: A three-sport standout at Grand Forks Central High School, Schultz participated in track and field, football and basketball... He was selected Central’s Offensive MVP as well as first-team all-state as a senior wide receiver... Totaled 59 receptions, eight receiving touchdowns, and 15 total touchdowns for the 2005 AAA state championship team. Personal: Andrew John Schultz... Born Feb. 6, 1988...
