The unit opened holes for running back Dustin Kroeplin who averaged 80.2 yards per game and rushed for 200 yards against Northern State (Oct. 30)... 2009 (So): Held down the starting right guard duties for the first six games of the season... Saw his 2009 campaign come to an abrupt end due to injury at Northern State (9/26/09).
Was a leader for a young, maturing offensive line that set the tone for an offensive unit that ranked fourth in the NSIC in scoring, averaging 33.5 points per contest, was fourth in rushing offensive gaining 189.4 yards per game and led the league in third down conversions, converting 79-of-158 (50 percent)... The BSU offensive unit led the NSIC in time of possession dominating the line of scrimmage for nearly 34:00 per game... They cleared room for eight 100-yard rushing games, including six by Dustin Kroeplin, a redshirt freshman that came just 48 yards shy of clearing the 1,000-yard plateau... The line also protected quarterback Derek Edholm who lead the league in pass efficiency completing over 61 percent of his passes, for nearly 1,700 yards, while throwing 25 touchdowns.

2008 (Fr): Appeared in 11 games as a freshman, starting on the Beavers’ offensive line at right guard.
