2010 (Jr): Started the first seven games of the season at safety before suffering an injury that ended his season early... Recorded 14 tackles (two solo)... Picked-off the opposing quarterback twice, tying for a team-high... Had three pass break-ups... Was a 2010 Fall Academic All-NSIC Team member.
    Posted a career-game at Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 18) with four tackles, a career-high two interceptions, returned for a total of four yards and three pass break-ups... Had three tackles against Augustana (Sept. 11) and at Minnesota Duluth (Sept. 25).

2009 (So): Made 11 starts in the ‘Gang Green’ defensive secondary... Has not missed a game in two seasons on the BSU roster... Ranked fifth on the team with 45 total tackles, while his 28 solo stops trailed only fellow safety Brody Scheff... Netted a career-high 3.5 quarterback sacks, posted an interception and led the team with 10 defended passes... Was selected to the NSIC All-Academic squad.
    Recorded a season-high seven tackles, which included five solo stops and a tackle for loss, at Northern State (9/26/09)... Posted his only interception of the season versus Minnesota Duluth (10/24/09)... Capped his junior campaign with a season-best six solo tackles, matching his season-high total tackle output with seven.

2008 (Fr): Started all 11 games at safety... Ranked fourth on the team with 63 tackles (30 solo)... Added 1.0 tackle for loss (-10), an interception and five broken up passes... His two fumble recoveries were good enough to garner him a share the team lead with Jake Anderson... Wore No. 18 as a freshman.
    Posted six tackles (two solo) in his collegiate debut at Minot State (8/28/08)... Picked off a pass versus Minnesota State (9/6/08)... Racked up a season-high six assisted tackles as a part of a nine-tackle outing with a fumble recovery versus Northern State (9/27/08)... Set a career-mark of 10 tackles (six solo) at Minnesota Duluth (10/25/08)... Posted a fumble recovery and two pass break ups in addition to five tackles (four solo) versus U-Mary (11/1/08).

2007 (Fr): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Earned four letters in football, three in baseball and two in track at Lockport High... Earned first-team all-conference and all-area honors as a senior; recorded 58 tackles, 19 passes defended and three interceptions; also had 30 receptions for 360 yards and four touchdowns... Helped lead Lockport to 2003 state championship.

Personal: Dusty James Sluzewicz... Born July 8, 1989... Son of Jerry and Kris Sluzewicz... will be majoring in Sports Management.
