2013 (Sr): Entering senior season, Pulkinen is sixth at BSU in PATs made (59), tied for sixth in field goals made (11) and seventh in points scored kicking (92).

2012 (Jr): Pulkinen assumed all the kicking and punting duties in 2012… Named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week Oct. 15 after his performance against Northern State Oct. 13, in which he was good on all three extra point attempts, pinned the Wolves inside the 20 on all three of his punts that totaled 131 yards (43.7 yards per punt) – including a 55 yard punt that tied a career-high – and posted 246 yards on four kickoffs to average 61.5 yards per kick
    Totaled 45 points to lead the Beavers and finish 10th in the NSIC… Went 30-for-35 on point after attempts and 5-for-10 in field goal attempts… Posted a 5-for-7 mark in field goal attempts 39-yards or less and established his career-high with a 39-yard field goal against Wayne State (Sept. 15)… Recorded career-highs in extra point makes and attempts with a 7-for-7 performance in the season finale against Minot State (Nov. 10).
    Off the tee he totaled 3,224 yards on 53 kickoffs to average 60.8 yards per kick… Booted seven touchbacks… In his first season as the primary punter, Pulkinen totaled 1,683 yards on 44 punts to average 38.2 yards per game that finished sixth in the NSIC and 63rd nationally… Nineteen times he placed a punt inside the 20, had seven punts fair caught and kicked seven punts 50 or more yards… Recorded his season-long punt of 55 yards against Minnesota Crookston (Sept 29) and Northern State (Oct. 13)… Recorded a season-high eight punts for 296 yards (37 yards  per punt) at Sioux Falls (Sept. 22).
    On BSU’s single season charts he ranks tied for 10th in point after attempts made (30), tied for 11th in field goals made (5) and 12th in kicking scoring (45 points).

2011 (So): Assumed field goal and extra point kicking duties, while continuing kickoff responsibilities in 10 games played... Totaled 3,476 yards in 54 kickoffs to average 64.4 yards per kick and posted 12 touchbacks with zero kicks out of bounds (all career-highs)... Was 6-for-11 in field goal attempts for a 54.5 percentage with a long of 38 yards... In extra point attempts, Pulkinen went 33-for-36 (91.7%) to rank ninth in the NSIC... Recorded 51 points (4.6 points per game) to rank third on the team.... Ranked fourth on the team in special teams tackles with six.
    Posted nine kickoffs for 571 yards (63.4 yards per kick) and a touchback at Upper Iowa (Oct. 1)... Recorded seven kickoffs for 439 yards (62.7 yards per game) with a season-high three touchbacks against Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 17)... Recorded three tackles (two solo) against Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 17).
    Totaled 12 points at Upper Iowa (Oct. 1) on a perfect 6-for-6 performance on extra points and a 2-for-2 mark in field goals with a 34- and 22-yarder... Recorded nine points against Minot State (Aug. 25) with a 3-for-3 mark on extra point attempts and a 2-for-4 performance in field goal attempts, including a season-long 38-yard field goal... Went 4-for-4 in extra points and 1-for-2 (37-yard field goal) on field goal attempts for seven points at Minnesota, Crookston (Nov. 12)... Posted a 5-for-5 performance versus MSU Moorhead (Oct. 15).

2010 (Fr): Played in all 11 games as the primary place-kicker... Totaled 53 kickoffs for 3,196 yards, averaging 60.3 yards per kickoff... Finished with four touchbacks and kicked the ball out of bounds three times... Opponents averaged 38.6 return yards and on average started on its 31-yard line... Punted twice for 64 yards.
    Kicked off nine times for 552 yards (61.3 ydspatt) against Upper Iowa (Oct. 2)... Averaged a season-high 69.0 yards per kick at St. Cloud State (Nov. 6), kicking three times for 207 yards with one touchback... Both punts came at MSU Moorhead (Oct. 16).

Prior to BSU: Competed on the men’s soccer team at College of Idaho in 2009, playing in eight games and starting six... Played soccer and football at Minot High School... Earned all-state honors on the soccer team his senior season and all-conference laurels junior year... Was an all-conference football player.
