Prior to BSU: Taylor was a three-sport athlete at Lockport High School... A wide receiver for the Porters, he is a two-time Southwest Suburban All-Conference performer... A captain his senior season, he helped guide the team to a 7-4 overall record, 4-3 league mark and a trip to the second round of the Illinois Class 8A playoffs... Earned letters in track (three), football (two) and basketball (two)... Excels in the classroom as an honor roll student all four years of high school.
Personal: Son of Dexter Sr. and Linda Taylor... Majoring in physical education at BSU... Uncle is Richard Buchanan, who played in eight total games in the National Football League with the Los Angeles Rams in 1993 and 1994.
