2014 (Jr): Did not play in any varsity games.
2013 (So): Played in 11 and started nine games at tight end after transitioning from linebacker in the off-season… Compiled 108 reception yards on nine catches to rank tied for fifth on the team… Recorded 12 yards per reception, 9.8 yards per game and a posted a season-long catch of 25 yards… Earned a spot on the 2013 Fall Academic All-NSIC Team.
Recorded a season-high three receptions for 18 yards at Winona State (Sept. 5)… Posted two catches for 24 yards versus No. 7 Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 26)… Brought in a catch of 25 yards that established a season-long and the most yards in a game at Northern State (Oct. 19).
2012 (Fr): Played in six and started two games at linebacker... Made his first collegiate start in the season opener against Upper Iowa (Aug. 31)... Totaled eight tackles (two solo)... Recorded a half sack (-2 yards)... Added a pass break-up.
Totaled four tackles (one solo) at Minnesota State (Sept. 8)... Tallied three tackles (one solo) and a pass break-up in his collegiate debut against UIU... His one tackle was a sack (-2 yards) against Minnesota Crookston (Sept. 29).
2011 (Fr): Earned a medical redshirt.
2010 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.
Prior to BSU: A six-time letterwinner at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School, Roelofs is active in both football and basketball... Captained the 9-2, Section 8AA runner up Rebels’ football squad in 2009... Piled up 12 touchdowns on seven receptions for 169 yards and 619 yards on the ground... Defensively, he recorded 93 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three pass break ups and a sack... Was named All-Heart O’Lakes and all-section in addition to garnering the league’s top linebacker award... A three-year letterwinner on the hardcourt, he is the captain of the Rebels’ basketball team this winter... Is no stranger to the NSIC, as his brother Zach was a member of the University of Minnesota Duluth’s 2008 National Championship team... Is on the Dilwoth-Glyndon-Felton Honor Roll... Is a member of the National Honor Society... Has been selected as the DGFHS Student of the Month and is a DARE Role Model.
