2017 (Jr.): Played in all 11 games for BSU.. Recorded 52 total tackles (20 solo and 32 assisted), three tackles for a loss of 10 yards, and three sacks for eight yards... Also had one fumble recovery... Set career highs with eight assisted tackles at MSU Moorhead (Nov. 11) and one fumble recovery against Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 26)... Tied career highs with nine total tackles at MSU Moorhead (Nov. 11), three solo tackles against Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 26) and one sack against SMSU (Sep. 23).

2016 (So): Played in 10 games recording 23 total tackles, including 8 solo tackles... Had 3.5 tackles for a loss of 35 yards.. Totaled 2.0 sacks with a loss of 13 yards

2015 (Fr): Played in 10 games recording six total tackles for the Beavers as a true freshman… Totaled 0.5 sacks and broke up one pass.

Prior to BSU: A three-sport athlete in high school… Earned three varsity letters in football, one in basketball and one in track and field… Was named as a Northwest Suburban All-Conference Honorable Mention recipient and to the all-conference team… During his career at Anoka, he recorded 154 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, forced two fumbles and had five fumble recoveries.

Personal: Born Sept. 16, 1996… Son of LeRoy Olson and Stacey Ellingson… Undecided on an academic major at BSU… In high school, Ellingson is on the honor roll… Had two uncles play collegiate sports as Richard Ellingson played baseball for two years at University of Minnesota Duluth and grand uncle Skip Shepersky played football for four years at University of Minnesota-Morris.
