NSIC North Division Defensive Player of the Year... Played in all 11 games for the Beavers while finishing second on the team with 67 tackles including three for a loss and one sack... Led the team with seven pass break-ups and also had one interception... Returned 16 punts for 168 yards (an average of 10.5 yards per return) as well as eight kickoffs for 188 yards (23.5 yards per return).

Prior to BSU: Was a two-sport athlete, earning two varsity letters in both football and baseball…Two-time First-Team all-district safety and holds the school record in tackles in a season (150) as well as career tackles (270) and career interceptions (7)…As a senior Olszewski forced six fumbles and returned three punts for touchdowns.
