Thursday, April 28, 2005
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University men's basketball head coach Patrick Smith has announced that BSU's summer youth basketball camp originally scheduled for June 13-17 has been rescheduled for June 6-10. The date has been changed to avoid a conflict with the local summer youth basketball program.

The camp is open to girls and boys in grades 2-12 with division breakdowns according to age.

Registration for the event is $100 for day campers and $225 per resident camper and includes a camp T-shirt, individual instruction and meals each day.

A typical day of BSU basketball camp runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes instruction from men's basketball players and the BSU coaching staff in offensive skill development, perimeter/post play, and competitive 1-1, 3-3 and 5-5 league play. Morning sessions will be devoted to individual instruction while afternoons will be reserved for competitive play.
