Bemidji State's Nov. 3rd exhibition available on local airwaves

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Gopher Radio Network has announced that it has added broadcast of the University of Minnesota men's basketball team's non-conference exhibition games including a Nov. 3 affair with Bemidji State University. As a carrier of Gopher Radio Network events, KBUN 1450 AM will broadcast the game beginning with the 7 p.m. tip off.

Tune into KBUN to listen to Mike Grimm call the game as BSU ushers in a new era with commentary by on air partner Kevin Lynch.

The game marks the BSU debut of first-year head coach Matt Bowen and eight of 11 of the Beavers' student-athletes.

Bemidji State is coming off of a 15-13 2005-06 campaign in which it took third place in the league with a 9-5 mark in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. Its Division I opponents, Minnesota, was 16-15 last winter finishing 10th in the Big Ten with a conference mark of 5-11.
