Bemidji State men host holiday youth basketball clinic

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University head men’s basketball coach Matt Bowen invites area youth to ‘Ballin’ with the Beavers’ holiday basketball clinic.

The clinic will run from Wednesday Dec. 27 to Friday Dec. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the BSU Gymnasium.

Participating boys and girls will receive instruction on ball handling, shooting and defensive fundamentals from coach Bowen, his staff and current men’s basketball players.

For participating, each youth will receive a free BSU Basketball T-shirt, a poster autographed by the Beavers and a ticket for admission to the Dec. 29 Bemidji State men’s basketball game versus the University of Wisconsin-Superior at 7 p.m. with a pizza party to follow.

Registration for the event is $40 per child and $25 for each subsequent sibling.
