Beavers add Kinnell to 2010-11 signing class
BEMIDJI, Minn.  -- The Bemidji State men’s basketball team has added Ryan Kinnell (F/C, Yuma, Ariz.) to the 2010-11 signing class. Head coach Matt Bowen today announced the signing of Kinnell to a National Letter of Intent. He joins Zach Noreen (F, Albany, Minn.), Max Rosenbloom (F, St. Paul, Minn.) and Jeff Whicker (G, Craig, Alaska) as signees during the NCAA late signing period. With the signing of Jake Schalow (G, Sherwood, Wis.) in November, the five players will begin their careers at BSU in the fall of 2010-11. Kinnell is the 16th player under Bowen to sign during the late period in his four seasons at Bemidji State.

All signees are contingent upon admission to BSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.

“The staff is extremely excited about the addition of Ryan,” Bowen said. “He will provide us much needed help in the middle. Ryan is a skilled offensive player that has the ability to score both with his back to the basket and from behind the arc. He is very strong academically and that translates on the court as he is an intelligent basketball player.”
