The Bemidji State University men’s basketball team went to battle with the Warriors of Winona State University Friday at BSU Gymnasium, but came out on the losing end of an 87-86 overtime result. The Beavers had opportunities to win the NSIC game on the last shot in both the regulation and overtime sessions, but couldn’t find the last big play.

A coaching career defined by more than wins and losses

With 147 wins, former head coach Dr. Karl Salscheider has won more games than any other Bemidji State men’s basketball bench boss in the 92-year history of the program. He is also quick to point out - with a smile - that he has lost more games than any other head coach in program history, but those wins and losses don’t define the career of a man who has shaped so many lives.

Former Beaver Walters thriving at the next level

After four successful years of pulling a green and white jersey over his head, Mason Walters graduated from Bemidji State in May and began pursuing playing basketball after college. The Bemidji State men’s basketball program and former student-athletes Dan Christenson and John Phillips are hosting the Fifth Annual Bemidji State Men’s Basketball Alumni and Friends Golf Outing on Friday, July 26 at the Blueberry Pines Golf Club in Menahga, Minn. The cost for the 2-person scramble is $100 per golfer with all proceeds directly benefiting the BSU basketball program.

Head Bemidji State University men's basketball coach Mike Boschee has announced seven student-athletes to his first NCAA signing class as the Beaver bench boss. Seven players from three states have inked National Letters of Intent to play for Bemidji State beginning 2013-14.


Bemidji State men's basketball announces summer camp offerings

The Bemidji State men's basketball program has announced its summer boy’s basketball camp opportunities for 2013. Camp offerings will run from June 4 to June 28 and be available for youth entering grade three to high school seniors.
