2010-11 (Redshirt): Sat out entire season as a redshirt… Named to the Academic All-NSIC Team.
2009-10 (Freshman): Only newcomer to see action in all 27 games, starting three...Averaged 4.7 points in 14.8 minutes per game...Was a threat from beyond the arc, hitting 16 three pointers…Made 14-of-16 (87.5%) free throws, including a perfect 12-for-12 in league play…His six blocks tied for fourth on the team…Posted his season-high in points against Minnesota, Crookston Dec. 5, scoring 17 on 7-of-11 shooting from the field, including 3-of-5 from three point range.
Lakeville North High School Career: Helped the Panthers to a 20-6 overall record and 14-6 Lake Conference record, tying the team for second in the conference in his senior season…Averaged eight points and four rebounds per game…During his sophomore and junior campaigns, he played in 51 of 54 games for the Panthers averaging 8.6 points per game…During his junior season, he averaged 7.5 points per game which was third best on the team while pulling down 6.0 rebounds per contest…Berthene also shot 41-percent from the field, leading his team to a 13-14 record and a 10-10 mark in the Lake Conference…He netted 21 double-digit games throughout his sophomore and junior seasons, including a career-high 21-point performance Nov. 30, 2006, leading his team to a 69-67 win over Rochester Mayo…He also excels in the classroom as he has been a consistent member of the honor roll at Lakeville North High School.
