BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University men’s golf team travels to Bolivar, Mo. to compete in the Southwest Baptist Invitational, Apr. 15-16. The Southwest Baptist Invitational will be played on the par-72 Silo Ridge Golf Course.
The Beavers placed eighth at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preview in Kansas City, Mo., Apr. 5-6. Two Beavers placed within the top 25, Tanner Sperling tied for 10th with a total score of 145 (75-71) and Chris Swenson tied for 21st with 149 (76-73). Ben Corbid tied for 44th with a total of 155 (78-77). Rounding out the team was Ian Mackenzie-Olson, tied for 66th with 159 (80-79), and Brennan Hockman, tied for 75th along with BSU individual Cody Cook. Hockman shot 161 (79-82) and Cook totaled 161 from an 81 and 80.
Following the Southwest Baptist Invitational, the Beavers will compete in the NSIC Championship in Kansas City, Mo. Apr. 18-20. The Championships will be held at the Shoal Creek Golf Course.
