BEMIDJI, Minn. – For the second time in his two-year career, Bemidji State University Men’s Golfer Ian Mackenzie-Olson has been selected to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team.
Mackenzie-Olson led the team with a scoring average of 75.0 in 22 rounds and posted four top-10 finishes during the season including a second-place finish at the Watkins Invitational, Sept. 24-25. The Wayzata, Minn., native was twice named the NSIC Men’s Golfer of the Week during the season on Sept. 19 and April 17 and finished 12th at the NSIC Championships on April 20.
Winona State University’s Michael Schmitz was selected as the NSIC Men’s Golfer of the Year while Concordia University-St. Paul’s Mason Fiddle was named the NSIC Men’s Newcomer of the Year.
