BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University men’s golf team competes in its final tournament of the fall season this week by traveling to St. Joseph, Mo., to participate in the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Missouri Western State University. The Beavers will play in the two-day, two-round tournament held at the 6,582-yard St. Joseph Country Club.
The Beavers are paced by senior Will Czeh who also leads the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a 72.1 scoring average and has three top-10 finishes this season to lead Bemidji State. He is followed by senior Chris Swenson who has a 72.8 scoring average and is third in the NSIC and is coming off t-ninth finish at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invite.
Sophomore Ben Corbid (73.6), junior Brandon Nelson (74.8) and junior Tanner Sperling (75.5) are the Beavers top five scorers this season.
Bemidji State paces the NSIC with a 293.5 scoring average as a team in eight events during the fall season.
