BSU and Lakeland Public Television make broadcasting agreement

Bemidji State University men’s hockey has a new television home. Today, Lakeland Public Television General Manger Bill Sanford along with Bemidji State Director of Athletics Dr. Rick Goeb announced that organizations have reached a two-year agreement to televise all BSU men’s ice hockey home games.


Bemidji State men’s hockey drops Oct. 2 exhibition from 2010-11 schedule

Bemidji State University head coach Tom Serratore today announced changes to the 2010-11 men’s ice hockey schedule. The Beavers have cancelled an exhibition game originally scheduled for Oct. 2 versus the University of Manitoba. The game was planned contingent upon the completion of the Bemidji Regional Event Center and the Oct. 2 date pushed the limits of the estimated occupancy date.


Bemidji State men’s hockey player Kinne suffers stroke

The Bemidji State University Athletic Media Relations office has confirmed a report by the St. Paul Pioneer Press that men’s ice hockey forward Ben Kinne (Jr., St. Paul, Minn.) suffered a stroke on Friday, July 23, 2010. His family continues to see positive signs of improvement as he continues to recuperate.

Bemidji State men’s hockey program begins WCHA membership July 1

When the Bemidji Regional Event Center opens its doors for a pair of Bemidji State University ice hockey games Oct. 15, 2010, the heart of the complex--the hockey rink portion of the facility--will be called the Robert H. Bemidji State men’s hockey adds two more for 2010-11 season

The Bemidji State University men’s ice hockey program today announced the addition of Kyle Brodie (Northglenn, Colo.) and Garrett Ladd (Fenton, Mich.) to the Beaver hockey program for the monumental 2010-11 season. McKelvie extends hockey career beyond collegiate ranks

Toronto acquires rights to BSU's Peluso in NHL trade deadline-move

Water-tight goaltending and a potent power-play propelled the Bemidji State University men's ice hockey team to a 3-0 nonconference victory over Western Michigan University Sunday at Lawson Ice Arena in Kalamazoo, Mich.

For the first time in 54 years of hockey at Bemidji State, the Beavers skated to a 0-0 tie. Saturday BSU and its opponent Western Michigan failed to score in 60 minutes of regulation and the five-minute overtime period, while Dan Bakala (So., G, Calgary, Alberta) posted his second career shutout in the scoreless tie at Lawson Ice Arena in Kalamazoo, Mich.
