Bemidji State University Head Men’s Hockey Coach Tom Serratore has announced the hiring of Travis Winter as assistant coach. The 2009 BSU graduate and former captain, returns to Bemidji State after getting his coaching feet wet in the United States (USHL) and North American (NAHL) Hockey Leagues.

McKechney set to be inducted into Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame

Ronald McKechney played baseball and hockey at Bemidji State University from 1959-61 and for his efforts was named into the Bemidji State Athletics Hall of Fame in 1988. Edmonton inks former Bemidji State defenseman Brad Hunt

The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Edmonton Oilers and General Manager Craig MacTavish announced the organization agreed to terms with former Bemidji State University defenseman Brad Hunt Sunday. The contract will make him part of the Oilers’ organization through the 2014-15 season.
