BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University’s Kate Warmack (Sr. C, East Grand Forks, Minn.) and Jeff Jubinville (Sr., F, Edmonton, Alberta) have been named Beaver Pride Athletes of the Week, after recording outstanding athletic performances during the week of Feb. 24-March 2.

Warmack recorded 14 points and posted 16 rebounds Feb. 26 in the Bemidji State women’s basketball team’s season-ending loss to No. 9 Wayne State College in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/Sanford Health Tournament. This week’s Beaver Pride Athlete of the Week selection marks the third of 2013-14 for Warmack and the sixth of the season for a member of the BSU women’s basketball team.

Jubinville led the BSU men's hockey team in scoring Feb. 28 and March 1, as the senior posted two goals and an assist.  All three points came in the Beavers' regular season finale—Fittingly senior day. Jubinville had a hand in three of BSU's four goals in the 4-1 series finale, setting a new personal single-game high with three points. He got the Beavers on the board with his fourth goal of the season at the 14:51 mark of the first.
