BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Head Men's Hockey Coach Tom Serratore and defensemen Dan Billett and Tommy Muck talked to the media about the Beavers' upcoming WCHA semifinal match up with Bowling Green State University and the playoffs to this point, Wednesday.
Bemidji State, the 2016-17 WCHA Regular Season Champion and the WCHA Playoffs top seed, hosts fourth-seeded Bowling Green March 10, 11 and 12, in needed, in a best-of-three playoff series. Game times are set for 7:07 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 5:07 p.m. Sunday if a third game is needed to decide the series.
Tickets for the semifinal match up are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting the Sanford Center Bob Lowth Ford Pickup Window from 3:30-6 p.m. Thursday or Friday beginning at noon. Tickets can also be purchased by calling (218) 441-4031.
Youth tickets are priced at $9 for each game of the series, with adult tickets beginning at $18. Reserved tickets are also available in Silver or Bronze Sections for $25; in the Gold Section $30 and seats in the Club Section are $35 with the option to buy in to the all-you-can-eat buffet area for an additional $15. All taxes and fees are included in the listed ticket price. Student tickets can be purchased at Sanford Center for $5 with a valid BSU or NTC student ID while they last.
The Beavers and Falcons have already gone head to head four times this season with BSU owning a 3-1-0 edge in the season series, which includes 2-1 and 4-1 victories at Sanford Center to open the 2016-17 season, Oct. 7-8. But BGSU and BSU also met in the 2016 postseason and after BSU opened the best-of-three series with a 3-1 win, the Falcons bounced back with 7-2 and 3-1 victories of their own to end the Beavers' season.
