2011-12 / Sophomore
Played in 30 games in 2011-12, which included six starts... Finished the season seventh on the team in scoring with a career-best 17 points (7g-10a) despite missing eight games to injury... Was a constant on the point of the BSU power-play unit... Completed his sophomore season fourth on the team in power-play scoring with nine points (3g-6a)... After playing the first three games of the season without a point, Illo collected a career-high three points (1g-2a) and matched a career-best two assists at Colorado College (10/15/11)... Strung together a five-game scoring streak from Nov. 17 to Dec. 14 (2g-3a)... Served a career-high seven minutes worth of penalty  minutes at Denver (1/14/12)... Replicated a career-high two-assist game in a 5-4 victory in the final game of the 2011-12 regular season at Alaska-Anchorage (3/3/12).

2010-11 / Freshman
Played in 37 games as a rookie, which included three starts... Was second among BSU’s 2010-11 freshman in scoring with 6 points (4g-2a)... Made his collegiate debut Oct. 15, 2010 as the Beavers hosted North Dakota to open Sanford Center... Collected his first goal as a Beaver Nov. 12 as the Beavers fell to Alaska-Anchorage 5-4... Contributed his first assist in the green and white on  a game-winning goal by fellow freshman Kyle Brodie at Alabama-Huntsville (1/7/11)... Scored a goal in a  2-2 tie at Nebraska-Omaha (1/14/11)... Logged an assist in the clinching game of the Beavers’ WCHA Playoff win at UNO (3/12/11) putting an end to a streak of 13 games without a point... Added a goal in BSU’s season-ending loss to Denver in the WCHA Final Five semifinal game (3/18/11).

Prior to BSU
Illo completed his second season with Tri-City of the USHL before making his debut at BSU...  Finished the 2009-10 season third on the team with 43 points (24g-19a) in 50 games, while leading Tri-City with five game-winning goals...  A weapon on the Storm power-play, more than half of Illo’s point production, 11-13=24 points, came on the man advantage... Illo recorded at least one point in 32 of the Storm’s 60 games in 2009-10, including 10 multi-point efforts and two separate scoring streaks of six games... In two seasons with the Storm, Illo logged time in 97 games netting 45 goals and 31 assists for 76 points... As a fifth-round pick (136th  overall) in the 2009 entry draft by Anaheim, Illo stands as the fifth BSU player that has been drafted into the NHL joining Chris Peluso (seventh round - Pittsburgh - 194th) and BSU greats like Andrew Murray (eighth round - Columbus - 242nd), Gary Sargent (third round - Los Angeles - 48th) and Dale Smedsmo (seventh round - Toronto - 93rd)... Illo, is the first native of Slovakia to join the BSU program and was the only European-born player on the Beavers’ 2011-12 roster.
