Made one appearance as a junior... Allowed six goals in a 6-4 loss at Colorado College (10/15/11)... Established a new career-high turing aside 33 shots in 59:50 of play (10/15/11)... Finished the season with a 5.01 goals against average and .868 save percentage... Was 0-1-0 in 2011-12... Was a member of the 2012 All-WCHA Academic Team.
2010-11 / Sophomore
Appeared in eight games for BSU, which included seven starts in net... Owned a 2.45 goals against average in over 440 minutes during the 2010-11 campaign... Posted a 1-5-1 record as BSU’s goaltender... Recorded shutout against Alaska-Anchorage (11/13/11) to lead BSU to its first victory at Sanford Center (4-0)... Collected season-high 28 saves and allowed only one goal in 65 minutes in 1-1 tie against Minnesota Duluth (10/30/10)... His last appearance of the season came Jan. 22, 2011 after relieving Dan Bakala in net against St. Cloud State... Was one of BSU’s WCHA-leading 11 recipients of the scholar-athlete award... Selected to WCHA All-Academic team.
2009-10 / Freshman
Opened his collegiate career in style posting a 13-save shutout victory at Northern Michigan (10/24/09)... Won the first three starts of his BSU tenure adding wins at Minnesota (11/15/09) and Ala.-Huntsville (11/21/09)... Allowed just one goal in nearly 90 minutes of relief work... Earned a tie in relief making 12 saves in 19:11 (3/13/10) as the Beavers skated to a 3-3 overtime draw with Robert Morris... Opened 2010-11 after not allowing a power-play goal after Dec. 12, 2009--a streak spanning five appearances... Was named to the CHA All-Rookie Team... Twice earned CHA-Rookie of the Week honors.
Prior to BSU
Mathieu Dugas came to Bemidji State after posting a 17-12-0 record with the Wenatchee Wild of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in 2008-09... In nearly 2,100 minutes between the pipes, Dugas turned away 988 shots a for a .904 save percentage, while allowing 3.05 goals per game... He guided his team to the national championship where they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker... Compiled a 7-1-1 postseason record and earned a West Division roster spot for the prospect tournament... Prior to his time in the NAHL, Dugas played two seasons in the Maritime Junior “A” Hockey League... In 90 games in the league, Dugas posted a .915 save percentage.
