Posted a season high two-goal game in win over Alaska Anchorage (2/20/15)... The Beavers were undefeated when Bauman scored a goal, and 8-2-1 when he had a point... Prior to BSU
Kyle Bauman spent two seasons playing junior hockey in the NAHL for the Wichita Falls Wildcats. During his time there he scored 83 points (47g-36a) in 118 games. In 2013-14, Bauman was the leading scorer for the Wildcats, and the second leading scorer in 2012-13. Bauman also competed in the 2013 and 2014 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. Bauman finished his career for Wichita Falls as the fifth-leading goal-scorer in team history (47). Additionally, Bauman’s nine career game-winning goals stands as the third-highest total in Wildcat history. Before joining the NAHL ranks, Bauman played two seasons in the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) with the Rochester Stars and the New Jersey Hitmen. In 73 total games, he compiled 48 points with 22 goals and 26 assists.
Kyle Jay Bauman was born to Thomas and Donna Bauman April 24, 1993 in Orlando, Florida... Kyle is majoring in business administration... Bauman is the second Florida native to play for the Beavers, following David Boehm (2011-13).
